For over 15 years, we have been developing and implementing software solutions for building reliable infrastructure for high-precision GNSS services — from managing networks of reference stations and computing corrections (Network RTK, PPP, PPP-RTK, SSR2OSR, …) to precise data processing on the user side.

Our experience covers both fundamental research and large-scale industrial deployments. The core team has participated in international initiatives, including the MGEX (IGS) project, working on the computation of precise satellite orbits and clocks.

GEOSTAR solutions are used by GNSS service providers and have demonstrated their robustness in processing large CORS networks, including support for RTK correction delivery over broadcast communication channels.

About
High-precision methods can be broadly grouped into two categories: OSR (Observation Space Representation) and SSR (State Space Representation). RTK and Network RTK belong to the OSR family. They rely on corrections in the observation space, which are highly time-sensitive and quickly lose validity. PPP and PPP-RTK, on the other hand, are part of the SSR family. These methods apply corrections in the model parameter space, offering significantly greater flexibility and autonomy in position determination.
The world of GNSS offers a full spectrum of high-precision positioning methods. Technically, they differ along two key axes: accuracy and convergence time. Among them, RTK stands out as the method that extracts the maximum potential from carrier-phase measurements. All other approaches that trade off technical performance compared to RTK are essentially aimed at reducing the cost of the infrastructure needed to deliver precise positioning.

For example, PPP enables centimeter-level accuracy without requiring a dense network of reference stations, though this comes with a slight reduction in precision and longer convergence times. PPP-RTK acts as a hybrid between RTK and PPP: within a dense reference network, it can match RTK performance; outside of such a network, it behaves more like PPP.

Global PPP is a software for generating global corrections tailored for high-precision positioning using the PPP technique. It processes data from global reference station networks to produce orbit, clock, and other correction parameters — ensuring consistent and accurate positioning worldwide.

Engine is a lightweight GNSS positioning software suite designed for integration of Service into end-user devices.
